Patient Endorsement-Proximal Tib Fib Joint Injury

Feb. 8th, 2025–Even though I’ve been lax on creating posts for my website, I have continued to post on my Facebook page over these past 4 years. I share the below patient endorsement from, Stacianne in New York, with her permission to publish it here on my website:https://si-instability.com

“I was having chronic pain a few years after falling off a rope swing. When it happened, I had ACL Reconstruction, but the pain worsened over time to my lateral leg. After seeing many orthopedists, I finally found out I had a dislocated proximal tibiofibular joint. This is very uncommon, and I spent many hours trying to find people who went through this. I was so excited to find Kim’s YouTube video which brought me to her blog website. When I reached out to her phone number, I was ecstatic to have the chance to speak with someone who went through what I’ve been going through since it feels like such a lonely journey. Kim spent so much time on the phone and FaceTime with me going over so many medical details. Her knowledge is extremely impressive. I’m so thankful Kim took so much time to speak with me and answer my questions and offered such great advice! It felt like I was talking to an orthopedist because of how much knowledge she has for this topic. Kim has definitely shown me the importance of research and advocacy!“

As always I sincerely like to pay it forward with direct knowledge and learning experience of all the orthopedic concerns that I have gone through and have written about herein on my medical blog website.

Sincerely, Kim-author
